Rain Gauge

rain gauge

Miss Christie asked us all to make something out of a Pringles tube and I made this, a rain gauge.

It has a cone upside down on top so the water can slide through. I’ve put centimeters on 1 side and up to 1 Litre on the other side.

I put it outside and I tried to see if it would catch any rain, but it wasn’t very rainy that night and only went up to 1 cm!

  1. Ah! There it is – the famous rain gauge! We needed this device the other night when it rained in BUCKETS!!! I love that you’re in the background peeping over the top of the funnel!
